This craft is super easy to do, is fun for the kids and it looks really cute. For this craft you will need: - White card stock
- Blu Tack
- Pink acrylic paint
How to make it: Start by cutting heart shapes in different sizes. To ensure they are symmetrical, fold a piece of paper in half, draw a half-heart shape along the folded edge of the paper and cut the heart out. Place the hearts on your blank cardstock and secure it with small pieces of Blu Tack. Select a few shades of pink and white paint and disperse a small amount on a tray. Now is the fun part, start dipping your fingers on the paint and stamp the card around the hearts. Make sure you don’t apply too much paint to your fingers to avoid bleeding through the heart masks. These windsocks are simple to make and will look adorable by your classroom windows. For this craft you will need: - pink, purple and red cardstock paper
- party streamers or crepe paper
- foam heart stickers
- glue stick
- stapler
- scissors
How to make it: Start by decorating the cardstock paper with the foam hearts stickers (you can also use any heart stickers you have available). Cut out six strips of crepe paper about 18-inches long (or use the party streamers). Now flip the cardstock to the other side so the decorated side is facing the table and add glue along the bottom of the cardstock and stick the crepe paper onto it. Bend the cardstock paper into a circle, connecting the ends together and staple the top and bottom of the windsock. To create a handle for your windsock, all you have to do is cut a strip of cardstock 1-inch wide and 11-inches long and glue each end of the strip onto the top of the windsock Source: Heart Windsock Valentine's Day Craft - I Heart Crafty Things - Water bottle love bugs
